Buses arrive at 11pm and leave by 11:30pm, dropping off at Wairakei Lake Resort & Taupo CBD
The Venue
Ohakuri Rise sits above Lake Ohakuri, Taupo, New Zealand, surrounded by native bush and sweeping geothermal vistas, with views over the water. Ceremony and reception are both on-site. There’s no parking at the venue, so see the Travel page for how to get there and back.
Dress Code
Formal attire, black tie. Tuxedos or dark suits for the gentlemen, and evening wear for the ladies.
The ceremony is outdoors on grass, so block heels or flats are a safer bet than stilettos. Evenings by the lake can get cool, so bring a layer.
